SunLife has today announced that British actor Richard Ridings, best known as the voice of Daddy Pig from family favourite Peppa Pig, is to become the voice behind all the company’s advertising, including life insurance, savings, home insurance, pet insurance and will-writing. |
‘As well as being a great actor, Richard is an amazing vocal talent,’ says SunLife’s managing director Dean Lamble. ‘His voice is warm and friendly but also really compelling and credible. Across our TV, radio, sponsorship and online video content we think Richard has the perfect voice to complement our approach to making things straightforward, affordable and easy – so families can confidently take control of the money.’ Richard, currently in the middle of filming Dickensian, a major new drama for BBC1, said ‘I’m delighted to be working with SunLife. Their aim to make financial planning more “straightfordable” for everyone is something that appeals to me and I love the no-nonsense, down-to-earth personality that runs through everything they do.’ SunLife – one of the UK’s most successful direct financial services companies – rebranded just over a year ago and recently trademarked ‘straightfordable’ as their description for products which are ‘both straightforward and affordable’. |
