Investment - Articles - Schroders appoint new Head of Solutions Management


 Schroders is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Maybury who will take up the newly created role of Head of Solutions Management in the Multi-Asset and Portfolio Solutions Group in April 2012. This team is part of the Schroders £32.9 billion* Multi-Asset and Portfolio Solutions business lead by Nico Marais.
 Ian will further strengthen the well-established LDI team, headed up by Andy Connell. Prior to joining Schroders, Ian worked at Redington where he was Co-Head of Asset Liability Management & Investment Strategy. Prior to Redington Ian established a centre of excellence in insurance and pensions asset liability management and capital management at Citigroup. His wide range of experience also extends to being a trustee of various pension schemes. Ian holds a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Southampton, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
 Nico Marais, Head of Multi-Asset and Portfolio Solutions at Schroders said:
