BlackRock's Cash Management Group is delighted to have won the FT Pension and Investment Provider award in the Money Market Funds category. The awards ceremony was held at the Sheraton Park Lane in London on Wednesday 18 May 2011.

The Pension and Investment Awards combine the forces of both Pensions Management and Pensions Week magazines which are distributed to 10.000 UK institutional readers. The awards seek to recognise excellent service delivery by providers of products and services to UK occupational pension schemes. The four key criteria used to adjudicate the awards are performance, innovation, service standards and competitive edge.

The judges announced BlackRock as the winner of the Money Market Funds category, and noted BlackRock's unrivalled submission, commending the "superior innovation over the past year".

BlackRock also won the award for Transitions Management and was highly commended in the DC (Investment Only) Manager of the Year category.
