Dalriada Trustees has today announced the appointment of Jessie Wilson as a professional trustee. Jessie joins Dalriada from Baillie Gifford, where she was a Director working in the firm’s US Financial Intermediaries team. Prior to this, she held the role of Client Services Manager at the firm, working as a Global ex-US equity product specialist with a broad range of pension scheme and endowment clients.

Jessie began her career as an Actuarial Analyst at HSBC Actuaries & Consultants Ltd, and in total brings 15 years’ industry experience across multiple disciplines to the role. Jessie will be based in Dalriada’s Leeds office.

This appointment further strengthens Dalriada’s team of 42 professional trustees located across its UK-wide office network in Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester and London and supported by a wider team of highly trained staff working in a variety of roles across the UK.

Commenting on the appointment, Jo Harris, who heads Dalriada’s Yorkshire and North East team, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Jessie to our Leeds office. Seeking out Jessie with her actuarial, investment and ESG credentials illustrates our firm commitment to developing a team from a range of professional backgrounds, and our investment in growth in the regions. Jessie’s wealth of experience working with both state and corporate pension schemes will undoubtedly make her a great addition to our team, for our clients and for members.”

Jessie Wilson commented: “I am delighted to be joining Dalriada, one of the leading professional trustee firms in the market. I was particularly attracted to Dalriada’s fresh approach to trusteeship, which draws upon on the diversity of thinking and experience that each member of the team has to offer. I look forward to working with my new colleagues in delivering the best possible outcomes for the broad and growing range of pension schemes that Dalriada helps govern.”
