Life - Articles - Engage Mutual strengthens board

Yorkshire-based Engage Mutual has further strengthened its board of directors with the appointment of customer experience expert, Caroline Fawcett, as non- executive director.

Caroline will share her considerable knowledge of marketing and customer insight, having spent some 27 years specialising in these fields. She is the founder of customer experience consultancy, Customer Experience First, an organisation which helps companies increase their customer focus.

Prior to this Caroline worked in strategy and marketing in financial service organisations. This included an 11 year stint at Legal & General Group where she held a number of positions including that of group brand and customer strategy director.

Speaking of her appointment, Caroline said:

"I'm thrilled to be working with Engage Mutual. It's an organisation which realises the importance of placing the customer at its heart. I look forward to using my experience to further develop its focus on its customers.

Caroline also sits as a non-executive director on the board of Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, a position in which she champions patient centricity.

Chairman of Engage Mutual, David Robinson, added:

"I'd like to welcome Caroline to the board. Her expertise in the area of customer experience will be invaluable as we look to move the organisation forward, while maintaining and building on our strengths in customer service."

Caroline attended the University of Southampton where she gained a BSc in Environmental Sciences. She went on to work for American Reliance, London Life and AMP before her tenure with Legal & General.
