JLT Employee Benefits (JLT EB) announces the appointment of Phil Wadsworth as Chief Actuary. Phil will be responsible for driving professional actuarial standards at JLT EB, taking the lead in the company’s engagement with The Pensions Regulator and trade bodies, such as the Society of Pension Professionals (SPP) and the Association of Consulting Actuaries (ACA). |
Phil has previously held the role of Chief Actuary from 2003 to 2013. He takes over from Hugh Nolan, who is leaving the business to pursue new opportunities. Bala Viswanathan, Chief Executive, JLT Employee Benefits, comments: “We are delighted to have Phil reassuming this role at a time when we are reshaping our business into a client centric, consulting led business. Phil has been with JLT for 17 years and has over 30 years of industry and actuarial experience. He is an ideal choice, bringing continuity and a wealth of expertise to the Board and his colleagues.
