Investment - Articles - LCP Ireland appoints Head of Investment Consulting

LCP Ireland has appointed Michael Butler as Head of Investment Consulting. He joins from Willis Ireland, having previously held positions at active currency manager Lee Overlay Partners and Mercer Investment Consulting.

Butler's appointment comes as LCP Ireland continues to grow its Investment Consulting Practice, offering advice to trustees and sponsors of pension schemes, charitable organisations and mutual funds, as well as advising clients in the broader area of risk management.

David Lane, International Partner at LCP, said: "Michael's appointment is a great opportunity to deliver LCP's innovative investment solutions to Irish pension fund trustees, and underlines our commitment to expanding LCP's Investment Consulting Practice internationally. Through our international network and understanding of the issues affecting multi-national employers and pension plans, we can help clients to take control of their employee benefit schemes - across Europe and beyond - by providing targeted and specialist advice."

Butler, a graduate of University College Dublin, is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
