Legal & General Investment Management has announced the appointment of Siobhan Boylan as Chief Financial Officer subject to regulatory approval. Siobhan will report to Mark Zinkula, Chief Executive Officer. Siobhan joins LGIM from Aviva North America (ANA), where she was previously Chief Financial Officer (CFO) based in Chicago with responsibility for the firm's US and Canadian finance functions. Prior to this Siobhan held a number of senior finance roles within the Aviva Group and was CFO of Aviva Investors from 2007 - 2011, immediately prior to her move to the US. Siobhan qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers in 1995. Mark Zinkula, Chief Executive Officer LGIM, said, "Siobhan joins us at an exciting time for our business. Our international expansion is gaining momentum as we experience increasing demand for our range of strategies. Siobhan's experience as an internationally focused CFO will be a great asset to the business and I look forward to working with her."
