The Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) today announced that LV= has become an Associate Member of the organisation.
Chris Hannant, Policy Director of AIFA, said:

"We are delighted that LV= has joined AIFA. This is a very positive move and we look forward to forging a strong relationship in the coming months. They are demonstrating their on-going commitment to the IFA profession by supporting the trade body for IFAs.

"The upcoming year will provide an exciting but challenging period of regulatory change for IFA businesses. LV= has shown a strong commitment to developing business partnerships with IFAs that will help them protect and grow their business through the transitional period."

John Perks, Managing Director, Retirement Solutions of LV=, said:

"We believe that advisers need the support of a strong trade body and we are happy to work with AIFA and engage with its membership. LV= would like to use its associate membership to learn more about the views of advisers, not just from the network head offices but also from the smaller operations where providing the right support will be vital for a healthy future. We are pleased to be able to support advisers to help ensure a buoyant adviser market for the long term."
