New appointments to Capita Hartshead’s investment consulting team

Capita Hartshead Actuarial and Consultancy Services has made two new appointments to its investment consulting team. Brendan Coffey joins as Senior Investment Consultant and Heena Desai has been appointed as Associate Consultant. Both will be based in Capita Hartshead’s London office and will report to Jillian Clark, who heads up the investment consulting practice.

Brendan specialises in investments and derivatives and works with pension funds to help them manage and reduce their investment risk. He joins from HSBC Actuaries and Consultants/JLT where he provided a wide range of investment consultancy services, including investment strategy reviews, asset liability modelling, transition management and performance monitoring. He was a member of the manager research team and has experience of working with both public and private sector pension schemes.
Heena moves across to investment consulting from Capita Hartshead’s annuity team. Her key roles within the investment consulting team are advising trustees on AVC investments for schemes that are in wind up, investment manager research and investment performance monitoring. Before joining Capita Hartshead Heena worked for PWC and Annuity Direct.

Sue Curley, Consulting Director commented: “Brendan and Heena will be valuable additions to the team and will put us on a firm footing for further growth in this area of consulting.”
