Lifestyle Article - New CEO for Allianz Partners UK and Ireland


Allianz Partners in the UK and Ireland are appointing respected industry figure, Tim Tozer, as their new CEO.

 Tozer will join Allianz Partners on 1st September, bringing his extensive expertise in leading multi-million pound businesses on an international scale and structure. His most recent position has been Group Operations Director at Vertu Motors PLC, the 6th largest motor retailer in the UK, a post he has held from March 2016. Prior to that he was Chairman and Managing Director of Vauxhall Motors Ltd & CEO of Opel Ireland for General Motors, and President of Mitsubishi Motors Europe.

 This appointment marks a return for Tozer, who was a Director at Allianz Partners UK and Ireland (then Mondial Assistance) between 2002 and 2004.

 Ida Luka-Lognoné, member of the Allianz Partners board, responsible for its Northern Europe, Middle East and Africa regions says of the appointment, “As a proven, successful business leader, Tim will bring additional credibility and focus to the existing strong and ambitious management teams driving our successful UK and Ireland operations.

 “This is an exciting time for Tim to be returning. Not only have both markets continued to grow their portfolio of extremely successful products and services spanning roadside assistance, warranty, travel insurance and international medical assistance, they have built a wider portfolio of customer care and retention services that exploit Allianz Partners’ global digital capabilities. We look forward to welcoming Tim as Allianz Partners UK and Allianz Partners Ireland continue to develop and deliver innovative, value adding product and service solutions for the assistance and insurance markets.”
