Lifestyle Article - New Head of Insurance appointed at Invesco


Invesco has today announced the appointment of Ed Collinge as Head of its UK Insurance Team. Ed will report to Hugh Ferrand, Head of UK Institutional Sales and Services.

 In this newly created role, Ed, is responsible for building and maintaining insurance relationships in the UK, focusing on providing investment solutions responding to the changing nature of insurance clients’ investment and regulatory needs. Ed will also work closely with the teams across Europe, with emphasis on the Benelux and Nordic region.
 
 Ed, who is based in London, joins from JP Morgan Asset Management where he was Executive Director of its Global Insurance Division for four years. In this role he was solely responsible for UK life insurance origination and additionally covered UK non-life, Nordic, Irish and South African insurance companies. His previous experience includes insurance-sector roles at Legal & General, Lehman Brothers, and Dresdner Kleinwort.
