Lifestyle Article - Panel Discussion and Networking Event - IFRS17: Impact on GI

Next Tuesday, 22nd November 2016, Bolton Associates will be holding their inaugural ‘Hot Topics’ evening and would like to extend the invite to Actuarial Post’s readers. An evening of networking and knowledge building, the ‘Hot Topics’ series aims to bring together like-minded actuaries and industry experts to share insight and comment on the biggest issues facing the insurance market today.

Tuesday’s event will focus on IFRS 17, a huge talking point at this year’s GIRO conference.

The aim of the evening is to help actuaries better understand the impact of IFRS 17 on the GI market, as well as getting advice on how best to prepare for its implication. This is an ideal opportunity for actuaries, both senior and junior, to gain insight into the new reporting standard, and also catching up with old market contacts (and making new ones!), all whilst having a drink on Bolton Associates!
