PTL has announced the expansion of its team in the North of England with the appointment of David Brown to its Leeds office. |
Richard Butcher, Managing Director at PTL, said: “David was the ideal candidate to support us in growing our presence in the North of England. With almost 30 years’ experience spent working across defined benefit and defined contribution schemes in the private and public sector alike, his understanding of clients’ needs and their individual objectives is second to none. I am certain he will prove invaluable in helping them achieve their goals.” David Brown said: “2017 has been a great year for PTL and I am excited to be part of their continued development. PTL’s success is driven by a genuine commitment to constant improvement and desire to be the best independent trustee firm they possibly can be – I look forward to my new role and making a real difference for clients.” David joins PTL having worked in the pensions industry for 30 years. In his previous role David was UK and ROI Pensions Manager at Tesco, overseeing the closure of their UK DB scheme and launch of their award winning Retirement Savings Plan. He was also Secretary to the Trustees of the DB scheme, Chaired the Discretions Committee and was a member of the Retirement Savings Plan governance committee. Previously David worked with two of the Big Four professional service firms, gaining a wide breadth of experience including pension M&A, funding negotiations, employer covenant reviews, liability management exercises, risk management and DC provider recommendations. He is an Associate of both the Pensions Management Institute and the Chartered Insurance Institute. |
