Lifestyle Article - PTL appoint Hoffmann-Jones Head of Proposition Development

PTL have announced the appointment of Britt Hoffmann-Jones as their first dedicated Head of Proposition Development (HPD).

Richard Butcher, MD of PTL, commented “Britt is a fantastically energetic and creative person. She’s a great addition to our team and I’m really looking forward to working with her.

“PTL has been innovating for more than 10 years now. We launched the first Group life Master Trust, we helped the FCA develop the concepts of Independent Governance Committees and Governance Advisory Arrangements, we were the first professional trustee to be appointed to a modern DC master trust. Also, last year, we launched our unique Clear Funds proposition - a tool to help asset managers assess the value for money of their transaction costs.

“Britt will spend her time as HPD finding ways we can do things better for our clients, further improving our clients’ experience. This appointment is key to us continuing to deliver to our values of being ‘Personable, Pragmatic and Professional’ and our purpose of delivering on our responsibilities to all stakeholders.”

Hoffmann-Jones added: "I am delighted to be joining at such an exciting time of growth and opportunity for PTL. I am impressed by the dedication to innovation, which too is my passion, and I look forward to contributing to the future success of the firm and its clients."

Britt has re-joined the industry after taking a career break to start a family. Prior to this, she was Head of UK Defined Contribution Pensions at the River and Mercantile Group and brings a wealth of experience advising both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension schemes.
