Lifestyle Article - Schroders name new Head of Multi Asset Strategy

Schroders announce that Lesley-Ann Morgan has been appointed Head of Multi-Asset Strategy, with a core focus on the firm’s strategic partnerships with clients globally.

From 1 November 2018, Lesley-Ann will assume the high-level, client-facing role, allowing her to leverage 25 years of investment management experience.

This newly-created role underscores Schroders commitment to working in partnership with its clients and delivering tailored investment solutions which better meet their needs. It also further enhances the management depth and overall expertise of Schroders’ Multi-Asset business.

Lesley-Ann will work in tandem with Johanna Kyrklund, Schroders’ Global Head of Multi-Asset Investments, leading on strategic partner engagement efforts and sharing our unique market insights, while ensuring Johanna continues to focus on delivering investment performance for clients.

Johanna Kyrklund, Global Head of Multi-Asset Investments, Schroders, said: “Lesley-Ann brings a wealth of investment management experience to this role, with our clients set to benefit from her razor-sharp insight and global pension management expertise.

“She has established herself as a thought-leader in the pensions and investment sector globally and her transition to Schroders’ Multi-Asset team will further reinforce its world-class offering.”

Lesley-Ann draws on a wealth of experience having held a number of senior roles at Schroders, most recently its Global Head of Retirement and Defined Contribution (DC).

Neil Walton, Head of Investment Solutions, will oversee Schroders global retirement and DC responsibilities going forward.

Lesley-Ann, Head of Multi-Asset Strategy, Schroders, said: “I am excited at the prospect of drawing on my investment experience and working in partnership with Schroders’ Multi-Asset clients to help ensure they meet their investment goals.”

She joined Schroders in 2011 as a Senior Strategist before becoming Head of Global Strategic Solutions in 2012, where she focused on designing investment solutions for Schroders’ clients globally.

Before joining Schroders, Lesley-Ann was a Senior Investment Consultant and Partner at Willis Towers Watson from 1993 to 2011.
Schroders’ Multi-Asset team employs over 100 people throughout the US, Europe and Asia Pacific, with £104.2 billion[1] of assets under management.
