Life - Articles - Trafalgar House announce two new appointments

Trafalgar House has announced the expansion of its London team with the appointment of Ian Burke as Senior Business Analyst and Clare Smith as Developer. The newly created roles come as part of a continued investment into its team of experts and supports wider service growth plans.

Daniel Taylor, Client Director at Trafalgar House commented: “Despite the constant evolution of the pensions industry, one factor will always remain – the member. Trafalgar House is passionate about making a positive difference to scheme members and recognise that as administration specialists, we must continually develop our business to accommodate their changing needs and expand our capabilities to ensure we can do just that.”

Taylor continued: “With almost 30 years’ combined experience in the administration arena, Ian and Clare are specialists in their own right, making them perfect additions to our existing team of experts. The wealth of new skills and expertise they bring to the table will prove invaluable as we continue to expand our offering and further enhance service delivery.”

Ian Burke joins Trafalgar House from The Pension Protection Fund where he acted as Business Process Lead, and was heavily involved on a large-scale onboarding project of around 120,000 members. Prior to this, he held roles within the administrative divisions of Atkins Plc, Mercer Plc and Hewitt Associates.

Clare Smith joins from Premier Pensions, where she served as Systems Analyst since 2008 and was responsible for the support and improvement of services for a host of different pension schemes. Smith has previously worked at organisations such as Hymans Robertson, Jardine Lloyd Thompson and Aon Hewitt.
