Lifestyle Article - XPS Group appoints 5 new partners and promotes 135 colleague


XPS Group has promoted 135 people including five new partners. The promotions have been made across all 15 XPS locations in the UK.

 The new partners are Dave Boulton, Louisa Lawton, Alex Quant, Karen Sloan and Brian Woolnough:

 • Dave Boulton heads the Cyber Security function, helping protect XPS, its pension scheme members, people, technology and data. He also provides expert security guidance to the XPS Group Board and supports client assurance.

 • Louisa Lawton is the Operations Manager responsible for DB pensions administration across the Bristol, Reading and Birmingham offices. She oversees the delivery of administration services for over 130 schemes.

 • Alex Quant heads the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Research team within the Investment business, leading its strategy on responsible investment. Alex also sits on the Investment Committee and the XPS Group Sustainability Committee.

 • Karen Sloan heads the actuarial team in Belfast and leads XPS’s specialist GMP equalisation calculations team. She oversees delivery of GMP equalisation projects for all its clients.

 • Brian Woolnough heads the pensions administration operations business in the London and Chelmsford offices. He oversees the customer service and delivery of administration services for a wide range of schemes including three of XPS’ largest administration clients.

 The promotions took effect on 1st April 2025.
