Pensions - Articles - Tennants Consolidated Pension Fund Appoints Buck Consultants


Tennants Pension Trustees Limited has appointed Buck Consultants at Xerox to provide actuarial, consulting, pensions administration and scheme secretarial services for both the defined benefit and defined contribution sections of the Tennants Consolidated Limited Pension Fund. The Fund has over 1,200 members and approximately £130 million of assets.

 “We were impressed with Buck Consultants’ sound understanding of both the Fund needs and those of the sponsoring employer,” said David Welch, chairman of the Trustee. “They listened carefully to what we are looking for and demonstrated how they would bring working efficiencies both through their people and their technology.”
 
 The appointment follows a competitive procurement against a shortlist of four other organisations. Buck Consultants at Xerox was chosen for demonstrating a deep understanding of the specific requirements of the Trustee and tailoring its solution accordingly as well as its technology for delivering high quality member communication and ability to provide unified administration services.
 
 “We will bring all of our extensive experience of administering and advising schemes of this size to this exciting new agreement,” said David Piltz, head of Trustee Services at Buck Consultants at Xerox. “We look forward to developing a very strong relationship with Tennants Consolidated Limited Pension Fund.”
