Zurich will be a key player at the Airmic annual conference - in Bournemouth this year - for the 14th year running.
The insurer will be showcasing a range of risk tools and publications - including a sneak preview of two new web-based risk-management training packages - as well as leading a case-study led workshop exploring how the right knowledge can be used to help manage global risks.
John Scott, Chief Risk Officer, for Zurich's Global Corporate business, will lead the session ‘Cutting through the fog - a structured insight into the complexity of global risks'. This will feature a demonstration of ‘The Zurich Risk Room' a tool to help organisations plot their strategic direction in the face of a constantly shifting risk landscape. Supported by a case-study from Intercontinental Hotels Group, this workshop will run on Tuesday 7 June from 11.45am-1.00pm (A7).

The Zurich Fleet Intelligence (ZFI) simulator game - to test driver skill and safety while maximising fuel efficiency. ZFI combines vehicle telematics technology with driver development and management tools to help improve driver and vehicle performance. Gamers with the best scores will be entered into a draw to win prizes including an Ipad 2.

Sneak preview of the Zurich Cargo Risk Academy - a web-based training package free to Zurich customers, launching in July and developed to help reduce damage and losses to goods during transportation. Research suggests that human behaviour is the highest risk factor in preventing damages and these can be significantly reduced through training.

Zurich's latest Risk Insight report, Marine Risk - looking at the marine industry and how world trade is recovering, the latest information on buyer and seller obligations in international trade as well as the current focus on global compliance and the latest picture of the piracy threat.

Zurich experts will also be on hand at the event to discuss the key issues shaping the industry.
