Articles - Aon appoints Manwaring to lead legal indemnity practice

Aon Risk Solutions, the risk management business of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AON), today announced the appointment of Mark Manwaring as client director responsible for leading Aon's national legal indemnity practice. Manwaring takes on the role with immediate effect and is based in Aon’s UK headquarters in London, reporting to commercial director Tim Scoble.
Manwaring joins Aon with more than 10 years specialist experience dealing with a wide range of legal indemnity risks including rights of light, defective title, restrictive covenants, access and rights of way, service easements and lost documents.
Starting his career in 2001 with First Title Insurance, one of the leading global title insurers, Manwaring moved on to manage his own title consultancy business in 2008.
Chris Bilney, Aon Corporate London area director, commented on the expansion, “Mark’s appointment demonstrates Aon’s commitment to delivering the best experience to our clients. Having already established a strong pedigree, Mark’s appointment further bolsters our position. Mark has deep experience in the industry and I am delighted to welcome him to the team and look forward to our continued success with him on board.”
Manwaring added, “Looking at the industry at the moment, Aon is really leading from the front. I am delighted to join the broker of choice and look forward to delivering the best of Aon to our clients.”
