Barnett Waddingham, the UK’s leading independent firm of actuaries, pension administrators and consultants, has appointed David Clare as a partner in its Investment Practice. David, founder of the award winning investment consultancy practice at HSBC and currently Deputy Chairman of JLT Investment Consulting, is to join the firm at the start of September, working out of the Liverpool & Leeds offices. Marcus Whitehead, Head of Investment Consulting at Barnett Waddingham, said: "I have known David for many years and his experience and skills will really help us to drive forward our investment consultancy from our Northern offices". Commenting on his appointment, David Clare said: "At a time of significant change in the investment consultancy industry, I am excited about the opportunity of working with Marcus and his team". Further strengthening of Barnett Waddingham's Investment Practice is also taking place in its London office with the promotion to Partner of Rod Goodyer and Alex Pocock. Senior Partner, Nick Salter said: "We are pleased to welcome David, and to promote both Rod and Alex as Partners in the firm, which reflects the continued growth and opportunities in our Investment Consulting team. We are committed to providing our clients with leading edge advice and excellent service, and this will ensure that we remain well placed to do so." |
