Barnett Waddingham, the UK’s largest independent provider of actuarial, administration and consultancy services, welcomes its new Head of Data Science to widen its expertise in line with the changing expectations of its clients. |
Filip Deryckere joins Barnett Waddingham to enhance data science capability and support expansion into diverse market areas. He will deliver operational solutions based on machine learning, information retrieval and other data science related approaches. Filip has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry and has an extensive actuarial background, having previously led the roll-out of the European Solvency II directive in the general insurance division of a European insurer. He has 5 years’ experience in data science and has a profound statistical background.
