Pensions - Articles - Barnett Waddingham expands investment consulting team

Barnett Waddingham has appointed Simon Cohen and Rebecca Carse within its investment consulting team.

The two new appointments take Barnett Waddingham’s investment consulting team’s numbers to over forty for the first time as the firm continues to grow its investment consulting practice.

Simon, who will assist in driving the growth of investment consulting services in Barnett Waddingham’s Amersham office, joins from JLT where he was a Director.

Rebecca joins Barnett Waddingham’s Bromsgrove office. Previously Rebecca was an assistant manager in Grant Thornton’s pension risk solutions team.

Marcus Whitehead, partner and head of investment consulting at Barnett Waddingham, said: “Demand for investment consulting services amongst trustees is higher than ever before, we have won several new clients this year, including the Thomas Cook Pension Plan. Simon and Rebecca’s appointments reflect the increased demand for experienced consultants, and both are valuable additions to our team which is focused on continued business growth in the coming year.”
