Lifestyle Article - Barnett Waddingham grows life team with two new appointments


Barnett Waddingham, the UK’s largest independent firm of actuaries and consultants has appointed David Gulland and Tom Cannings to join its life insurance consulting team, as the firm continues to grow the breadth of life services they offer to insurance companies.

 David Gulland will lead the firm’s strategic and transactional services to life insurance companies. David was most recently the Chief Executive of Marine & General Mutual, having initially joined that firm as Chief Risk Officer. His previous roles include being Managing Director for RGA's UK and Irish business, and over 25 years as a consultant to the life industry.

 Tom Cannings will support David as well as strengthening Barnett Waddingham’s actuarial and risk management team. Tom has 15 years of experience in the life insurance industry covering a wide range of roles.
