Lifestyle Article - Broadstone appoints senior actuary to lead Manchester team


Broadstone, an independent employee benefits and pension consulting firm, has appointed Stuart Bradbury as a Senior Actuarial Director and Head of Manchester Advisory.

 Stuart has close to 20 years of experience advising both companies and trustees on their DB pension arrangements. He joins Broadstone from PwC, where he was a director, specialising in advising sponsors on their strategies to de-risk and secure their pension schemes.

 Stuart brings a wealth of member options experience to the firm, having led PwC’s national member options team and implemented over 30 member options exercises during his career. Prior to PwC, Stuart focussed on advising trustees, including acting as Scheme Actuary, during his time with Willis Towers Watson and KPMG.

 Stuart will spearhead Broadstone’s efforts to continue the impressive growth of its Manchester office and bolster its capabilities in strategy consulting across the North of England.
