Lifestyle Article - Broadstone make senior appointments to lead UK pensions

Broadstone today announced that it has appointed Grant Stobart as Chief Executive Officer and Nick Jones as Chief Financial Officer.

Grant Stobart joins from Alexander Forbes, where he was International CEO and responsible for its mergers and acquisitions. He has many years’ experience in the pensions and employee benefits industry, having held a number of senior roles across the Alexander Forbes group in the UK, Europe and Africa.

Tony Solway, Chairman, Broadstone, said: “We are delighted to have an executive of Grant’s track record lead our Company in the next phase of its development. He brings a breadth of expertise that will help us expand our business and deliver greater value to clients.”

Grant Stobart added: “Broadstone is well-positioned to grow in a market still changing rapidly as a result of regulatory, service and demographic changes. I am excited to lead the business, which is well positioned to capitalise on these changes in the coming years - having strong client relationships, expert staff and the backing of a shareholder determined to see Broadstone achieve its potential.”

Nick Jones also joins Broadstone as CFO. Nick comes from Attenda Group Ltd following a successful sale of the business. Grant Stobart said: “Nick brings a blend of financial, operational and M&A experience that will be invaluable as we grow Broadstone into a pre-eminent force in the UK pensions and employee benefits business.”

Both Grant and Nick will join the Company in the second week of January 2017.
