Lifestyle Article - Clara Pensions announce new appointments


Clara has today announced a wave of further appointments which strengthen its governance, and also its focus on transactions.

 David Young is joining the Clara-Pensions Group Board as an additional independent non-executive Director. His background as a NED with a number of companies in the insurance, consumer finance and investment markets brings further expertise to our Board. Reflecting his experience he will chair our Risk and Audit Committee.

 As a new member joins our Board, one of Clara’s current non-executive directors is moving across to join the executive team as Chief Commercial Officer. Dan Adams, who has worked with Clara on behalf of our investors since 2018, will be leading on our transactions to see them through to completion.
 
 Colette Christiansen with her depth of de-risking experience David Evans FIA with his strong actuarial background will also be bolstering, respectively, our Client and Pricing teams over the coming months. Colette was formerly a partner at XPS and was Head of Proposition for the Bulk Annuity business at Scottish Widows. David has spent his career with Legal & General and Prudential Assurance, latterly as Director, Innovation.
 
 Ravi Dua has also joined Clara as Head of Data and Analytics to ensure we best use technology to support the reporting and analysis that underpins our member-first approach. He was previously Data Architecture Lead at the UK Health Security Agency and UK Security Vetting.
