Lifestyle Article - Dalriada Trustees appoints Senior Actuary as Senior Trustee

Dalriada Trustees Limited is delighted to announce the appointment of Andy Scott as Senior Trustee Representative in Scotland. Andy is one of the leading professional trustees in Scotland.

This move sees Dalriada strengthen its Scottish team. Dalriada has had a Glasgow office since 2004, and Andy’s appointment will add depth and experience to its existing trustee team and will further support its wider base with offices in Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester and London.

Commenting on the appointment, Brian Spence, Director, said “We continue to grow and develop the Dalriada business to meet the needs of the evolving pensions landscape. Dalriada operates a uniquely team based approach to trusteeship and Andy’s experience of the Scottish market and professional background as an actuary and investment adviser supplements our strong pensions management, restructuring, actuarial, investment and general governance expertise.”

“Andy joins Dalriada’s established independent trustee team operating in the Scottish market, including Mike Crowe, Greig McGuinness, Ian Craig, Mark Woodhouse, Brian Spence and Neil Copeland. We are all delighted that he is coming on board to deliver what is now really an unrivalled team among professional trustees across the UK.”

Andy Scott commented “I am excited to join Dalriada to help grow the business further in the Scottish market. Our genuinely team based approach brings a strength and depth to trusteeship not offered by our competitors. Dalriada’s clearly differentiated approach has the potential to bring a depth of capability that is generally not available to the average trustee board and I am particularly pleased to lead Dalriada’s effort in Scotland.”
