Lifestyle Article - Grant Thornton appoint new Actuarial and Risk Partner


Leading business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP has bolstered its financial services advisory team with the appointment of James Cruttenden as Partner.

 James joins Grant Thornton's Actuarial and Risk team, bringing with him 20 years' experience specialising in life actuarial work. A fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, he is an expert in the area of financial effectiveness and has experience helping clients improve their finance processes, reduce costs and ensure that accurate results are delivered in line with regulatory and market deadlines. James has considerable experience in managing large teams, both at home and internationally, and has worked on a number of finance and reporting transformation programmes with clients.

 Commenting on his appointment, James said "I'm thrilled to be joining the fantastic team here at Grant Thornton, who already have a market leading presence in providing actuarial and risk management advice to clients.
