 Guardian Financial Services, the closed fund life assurance consolidation group created by Cinven, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Birrell as Chief Financial Officer. Andrew was most recently the
 Group Risk and Actuarial Director at Old Mutual plc, prior to which he played a leading role in the South African life insurance industry. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
 
 Jonathan Yates, Chief Executive, said, “We are delighted to welcome Andrew to the executive team of Guardian Financial Services. He brings with him a wealth of talent, experience and commercial insight, which is
