Articles - HRH Prince of Wales launches NAPF's 2013 Conference


The Prince of Wales was asked to contribute a video message to launch the NAPF's annual conference in Manchester on 16th October 2013. The Prince of Wales has had an interest in sustainable finance for a long time. In 2004 he established his Accounting for Sustainability initiative to work with the finance community to embed sustainability into decision making and reporting. In 2007 he helped to establish the P8 group of pension funds on these issues and again earlier this year he convened a meeting of senior pension fund representatives to discuss how sustainability could be incorporated into mainstream investment strategies.
