Lifestyle Article - Hymans Robertson appoint new Head of Clients for TPA

Hymans Robertson has appointed Peter Summers to the new role of Head of Clients for Third Party Administration. With a focus on maintaining the highest possible standards of administration across every client the role will ensure that Trustees can be confident in the quality of service their members will receive.

Peter is already a Partner at the leading pensions and financial services consultancy, where he has worked for the last 17 years after joining from Aon. His most recent role was a senior consulting actuary in the firm’s public sector pension business.

Peter Summers, Head of Clients for TPA comments on his new role: “Pension scheme administration is a world of ever-increasing complexity which requires an efficient and effective technology driven service, while still managing to maintain the personal touch. I’m thrilled to start working more closely with our expert administration team who work tirelessly and impeccably to provide the best member service in every situation. A fact that has become even more clear in our current uncertainty as a result of COVID-19.

Gary Evans, Head of TPA comments on the role: “I’m very excited to welcome Peter to the team as we continue to invest heavily in ensuring our client experience is the best available. At a time when many firms are stepping away from providing administration services we hope to stand out and deliver an exceptional service that evolves to meet the changing needs of Trustees and members. Our team has grown by 40 per cent over the last 14 months and we remain fully committed to investing both in people and technology to provide an outstanding service for our clients. Peter’s joining completes the recruitment of this outstanding leadership team.”
