Pensions - Articles - Lincoln Pensions expand with appointment of Hamish Reeves

Lincoln Pensions Limited is expanding its fast growing team with the appointment of Hamish Reeves as Associate Director. This follows closely from the appointment of Director Nick Tinker.

Hamish joins from EY, having worked in its Employer Covenant Advisory business, largely advising the trustees of major UK pension schemes across corporate transactions and valuation cycles. He will continue to deliver covenant advice to clients of all sizes at Lincoln Pensions.

The growth of Lincoln Pensions reflects the trend for schemes and sponsors to seek proper independent covenant advice in light of the Pension Regulator’s recent funding code, published last Summer. It places employer covenant at the heart of risk management alongside actuarial and investment risk for defined-benefit pension schemes.

Commenting on the appointment, Darren Redmayne, Head of Lincoln Pensions, said: “We are delighted to welcome Hamish to the team. Hamish brings a wealth of expertise and, having worked with some of our team previously, he will hit the ground running. We continue to see strong growth in our business as more and more clients see the benefits of proper independent covenant advice.”
