LV= has appointed Jon Pocock as Head of Portals and Integration for its retirement solutions business. Jon joins LV= from MGM Advantage where he was Portal and Platform Manager. Jon will report into the Head of Retirement Propositions, Philip Brown, and will be responsible for working with external portals and partners to promote automated access to LV=’s retirement products. Jon has over 30 years of financial services experience, focusing on business transformation, outsourcing and information technology. Philip Brown, LV= Head of Retirement Propositions said: “I am pleased to welcome Jon on board. Following the retirement income changes it is now more critical than ever for product providers to ensure that their distribution capability is effective and far reaching. Jon’s expertise will further boost the business capability in this area.” Jon Pocock added: “Given the current retirement climate, being at the forefront of delivering product innovation is an exciting opportunity.
