National Pension Trust (NPT), the DC Mastertrust offering from Xafinity announces the appointment of two senior members of the NPT team. Andy Flynn and Jonathan Hight-Warburton have joined with immediate effect to strengthen the team and continue to build the defined contribution pensions offering. They bring over 75 years combined industry experience.

NPT entered the market in 2009 with the aim of doing things differently. NPT is client centric, technology driven and responds quickly to the changing markets and member needs, providing the full flexibilities of freedom and choice. NPT is one of the only schemes to offer members the full range of flexibilities, governed member support and safeguards and the assurance of the Mastertrust Assurance Framework, PQM Ready and RQM Ready accreditations.

Andy Flynn joins as Head of DC Communications from Zurich where he was Workplace Marketing Manager. Prior to Zurich he worked at Prudential and AXA.

Jonathan Hight-Warburton joins as Bid Manager from Xerox where he was Senior Commercial Contracts Executive. Prior to Xerox he was at Buck Consultants.

Dave Hodges, Head of National Pension Trust at Xafinity plc said: “The pensions industry has changed beyond recognition over the past few decades. Firms wanting to offer the full range of freedom and choice are looking to partner with those that can provide high levels of governance, and can reduce costs. The National Pension Trust is an ideal solution for those looking to consolidate pension schemes or just offer the right solution for members. In line with our growth strategy, we have continued to grow the team and welcome Jonathan and Andy to the NPT team. They bring years of experience and will help us to deliver our leading service and product offering to more firms and their members.”

Andy Flynn, Head of DC Communications said: “Member education, engagement and empowerment are vital in today’s pension world to help people understand and achieve the outcome they’re seeking. I look forward to continuing to develop NPT’s strategy to offer a market leading package to firms and their members.“

Jonathan Hight-Warbuton, Bid Manager said: “Clients need help and guidance on what to offer their members in the most cost effective manner. I look forward to working with NPT as the demand for leading Mastertrust solutions continues to grow.”
