Life - Articles - New home, new change for Friends Life

Friends Life today confirms the completion of its move into new Group headquarters, at One New Change in the City of London.

The new home for the business follows its official launch in March, and reflects the growing size and ambitions of the company.

Occupying 48,000 sq. ft. over a single floor, One New Change will accommodate up to 350 employees, including the Group's executive directors and corporate teams. Friends Life believes the office layout is ideally suited to inspiring creativity and collaborative working, while the location ensures the company retains a prominent position in the Square Mile.

David Hynam, executive director, operations at Friends Life said:

"Right on the heels of the launch of Friends Life, we're delighted to be moving into our new London home. Alongside the tradition of Cheapside and St Pauls, yet in a modern, iconic development, One New Change lends itself perfectly to Friends Life: a brand new company with a rich history."

Friends Life is one of the first companies to move into the office space at One New Change. Designed by award-winning architect Jean Nouvel, Land Securities' retail and office development opened in October 2010.
