Following the launch of guides by the Productive Finance Working Group – an industry group convened by the FCA, HM Treasury and the Bank of England – this video shows what the guides cover, how it might be useful, and the wider work of the group. This project, and these guides, are primarily aimed at DC schemes. We heard from Tim Gosling from The People’s Pension, Ross Hayter of abrdn, and Sonia Kataora of Barnett Waddingham, on what the guides are looking to achieve. We also heard from Nike Trost, FCA, on why she believes this remains an important topic, and Karen Hurst, PLSA, for our in-house view
