Pensions - Articles - PPF: Levy deadlines and failure scores

There are only two days to go until the 2012/13 pension protection levy deadline of 5pm on 30 March.
All contingent assets should be certified by this time, and all scheme return information, that will be used to calculate levies, should be certified on Exchange by this time.

After the end of March, D&B will conduct quality assurance checks to confirm accuracy of the data used to calculate Failure Scores. This will involve calculating and confirming an average score for some 20,000 employers, including calculating industry and scheme average scores where appropriate, so we expect the final scores to be available from 1st June 2012. At this point, there will still be at least three months before the start of invoicing, so we would urge anyone who has a query over the average failure score to contact D&B after that, so it can be resolved ahead of bills being sent. In the meantime, you will still be able to obtain monthly scores. You can contact D&B directly on 0870 850 6209 or by emailing customerhelp@dnb.com  (quoting - ‘PPF' in the subject line).
