Pensions - Articles - Senior appointments made at NEST


 The Minister for Pensions, Steve Webb, today announced the appointment of Tom Boardman as Deputy Chair and Graham Berville as a new Trustee Member to the National Employment Savings Trust Corporation.

 Their appointments will commence on 1 June 2014.

 Minister for Pensions Steve Webb said:

 "I am pleased to announce that Tom Boardman has been appointed as NEST Deputy Chair and that Graham Berville has been appointed as a NEST Trustee Member.

 With more than 1 million members and in excess of 3,500 participating employers, NEST is playing a vital role in supporting automatic enrolment, ensuring that all employers are able to meet their duties.

 These appointments will augment and bring additional strength and depth to the NEST Trustee Board with a range of skills, knowledge and expertise that will ensure NEST successfully meets the challenges ahead."

 Lawrence Churchill, Chair of NEST Corporation, said:

 "I congratulate Tom Boardman on his appointment as Deputy Chair and I warmly welcome Graham Berville to the Board of Trustees. These new appointments and our recently refreshed Board will guide NEST through the next phase of our journey."
