Articles - Standard Life launch new international hub on Techzone

Standard Life has launched a new international hub on its extranet Techzone, which provides advisers access to technical briefings on international propositions 24hrs a day, 365 days a year.

The international hub contains briefing cards and FAQs on topics related to the international market, including :

  •   Offshore Bonds & Taxation
  •
  •   Capital Gains Tax & Income Tax
  •
  •   Remittance Basis for Non-UK domiciled clients
  •
  •   Pensions: Overseas Transfers, Overseas Residents

Julie Hutchison, Head of International Technical Insight at Standard Life, said: "Customers have more complex advice needs when there is an international element to their family or finances. We noticed there was a growing trend for accessing our technical information online, so we created the new international hub on Techzone to service this need. The details on the hub provide clear and concise information to help support advisers with this rapidly growing market."

Standard Life's international hub on Techzone has 10 Briefing Cards and 61 FAQs on international themes. Techzone itself has had an average of 34,500 monthly visits to the site this year.

The new international hub follows the recent launch of a tax planning hub on Standard Life's adviser extranet Adviserzone, which went through a complete re-design earlier in the year.
