General Insurance Article - Towers Watson announces three senior risk consulting hires


 Global professional services company, Towers Watson, has appointed senior life insurance experts Tim Bateman, Peter Murphy and Miles Stanhope to its UK risk consulting business.
 
 Tim Bateman brings a wealth of experience in the life insurance sector having held a number of senior industry positions, most recently at Equitable Life. He will be based in London and will take a lead role advising clients on a broad range of financial management issues, including the strategic development of with-profits funds. Peter Murphy, who was previously with Lloyds Banking Group has joined the Towers Watson team in Manchester. He will focus on capital management and advising clients working with Towers Watson's Risk Agility EC capital aggregation software. Miles Stanhope is a financial modelling specialist and has joined from PwC to support the expansion of Towers Watson's modelling community and the development of its financial modelling capabilities for clients.
