Lifestyle Article - XPS Pensions Group appoints new Head of DC Investment

Mark Searle has been promoted to lead XPS Pensions Group’s DC investment team. Having first joined XPS in October 2020, Mark has played a leading role in developing DC investment strategies including ESG oriented default arrangements for schemes and incorporating strategies to take account of climate change and the net zero transition.

Mark Searle said: “I’m really excited to lead the DC investment team and build on its significant work around sustainability and new approaches to building investment strategies and default funds. I am particularly excited about the opportunities surrounding XPS DC Analytics and helping employers and trustees refine their DC arrangements so that they can tailor their investment approaches to the specific needs and preferences of their members.”

Sophia Singleton, XPS Pensions Group’s Head of DC added: “Congratulations to Mark. Mark brings a wealth of expertise and experience of providing strategic and pragmatic advice to a wide range of diverse clients. He will play a key role in helping our clients through some major short-term and longer-term challenges as we continue to grow our DC business.”
