Aon Risk Solutions, the global risk management business of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AON), today announced Jamin Valdez has joined the Los Angeles office as account executive.
In his new role, Valdez is responsible for delivering specialized solutions related to environmental risk management.
Building on six years of experience as an environmental consultant, Valdez most recently served as an environmental risk specialist with DLD Insurance Brokers, a regional brokerage in Southern California. He led the environmental team as well as focused on new client development. Prior to that role, Valdez was an underwriter with Chartis Environmental, where he evaluated environmental risks for complex commercial accounts.
“Jamin’s proven management skills and focused work experience extends the environmental team’s leadership position in Southern California,” said Mike Szot, chief operating officer of Aon Risk Solutions’ Environmental Practice. “His wealth of knowledge and innate ability to execute innovative risk solutions will be of significant value to our clients, helping to meet and exceed their expectations.”
Valdez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering technology from Lake Superior State University. He is based in Aon’s Irvine, Calif. and Los Angeles offices.
