Articles - Carolyn Bell joins Kames Capital international equities team


 Kames Capital has strengthened its international equities capabilities with the appointment of Carolyn Bell to the team.

 Bell joins Kames as an investment manager with responsibility for idea generation and portfolio management across North American equities. She will report to Kames’ head of North American Equities, Marcus Chandler.

 Bell has five years investment experience, having previously worked as an investment analyst at Baillie Gifford, where latterly she was responsible for researching North American equities with particular focus on the technology and energy sectors. Prior to this she analysed Asian equities and UK equities.

 Previously, Bell established and developed her own education business which she subsequently sold to investors.

 Chandler says: ‘Carolyn brings a breadth of experience across a diverse range of international and domestic equity markets and her appointment will greatly enhance our international equity capabilities.
