General Insurance Article - JLT Re appoints new Partner to build out Cyber Capability


JLT Re, the global provider of reinsurance broking and consultancy, today announces that Chris Bennett has joined as a Partner in the London & International Market Division, to support JLT Re’s Cyber Reinsurance capability.

 Bradley Maltese, Deputy CEO of UK & Europe, said

Whilst Chris’ background and experience is firmly rooted in Property D&F and Retro Reinsurance, over the past few years he has also developed specialist knowledge and a significant book of Cyber Reinsurance for Lloyd’s Syndicates. Cyber is a new, exciting and fast growing area of business and extending JLT Re’s strong specialty offering to include more Cyber expertise presents great opportunities for us.”
  
 Most recently Chris was Head of the UK Treaty Divisions and Retro at Cooper Gay, previous to that he was a Director of AJ Gallagher UK.
  
 Commenting on his appointment Chris said,
 “I am really excited about joining JLT Re and as Cyber risk continues to be a hot topic for clients and brokers alike, this a great opportunity for me to build on my Cyber experience supporting JLT Re’s growth in this area.”
