General Insurance Article - JLT Re appoints Russell Walters as partner

 Bradley Maltese, Deputy CEO of UK & Europe, said, “Russell joins JLT Re with over 30 years of reinsurance experience and expertise and will be driving international business expansion in London. Whilst he has an Energy background he will support cross class production from Middle East and North Africa as well as Asia.”

 Russell started his career as a Marine London placing Reinsurance broker at Alexander Howden which later became Aon. In addition to working at Aon he has also worked at Willis & Agnew Higgins & most recently Miller Insurance Services. He has also worked abroad running the branch for Aon Benfield in Bahrain & Dubai for three years & is accredited in the DIFC.

 Commenting on his appointment Russell said “JLT Re is a great fit for my drive and motivation and I am delighted by the can do culture and enthusiasm of clients. My focus will be on sustainable long term relationships which allow all parties to grow and prosper.
