With the school holidays coming to a close and parents up and down the country breathing a sigh of relief it seems that other events are also coming to a close from last month; the heatwave and connected wildfires; Andy Burnham’s first month in power in which he among others; established an AI task force headed up by Lord Vallance; scrapped VAT on electricity; decentralisation and No 10 North perhaps being the eye catching move. And of course, the seemingly never-ending Iran war and Strait of Hormuz crisis.
