General Insurance Article - Towers Watson expands Insurance Management Consultancy


 Towers Watson has appointed Sabine Leboulanger in France and Henning Maass in Germany to lead the growth of its Insurance Management Consultancy (IMC) practice in Europe.

 Sabine Leboulanger joins from AXA where she was chief risk officer for its French subsidiary and also led the company's Solvency II project in France. Henning Maass was previously country manager for Alico (AIG) Life in
 Germany.

 Their appointments are a significant step in the European expansion strategy for Towers Watson's IMC business which focuses on business and market strategy, enterprise risk management and performance improvement advice for clients.

 Steve Shurety, Head of Insurance Management Consultancy at Towers Watson, said: "We are delighted that Sabine and Henning have joined us. Their respective wide management experience and track records of leadership of complex, strategic projects in large financial services organisations will strongly reinforce our ability to deliver pragmatic solutions to our many clients in France, Germany and elsewhere in continental Europe."
