To help life insurers improve risk and capital management, global professional services company Towers Watson (NYSE, NASDAQ: TW) has released an updated version of its MoSes financial modeling software. With MoSes release 6.5, Towers Watson has concentrated on improving the user experience, incorporating such enhancements as:
· Faster user interface
· Enhanced memory management
· Improved reporting capabilities
· Distributed processing enhancements for running financial models on clusters of computers
“We are committed to MoSes as our life financial modeling platform and are very pleased to provide release 6.5 to our clients,” said Todd Erkis, Towers Watson’s global life software product manager. “The enhancements in this release were based on client feedback and input from our internal MoSes users worldwide with the goal of making the software easier and more efficient to use. We are encouraging all of our clients to deploy MoSes 6.5 as soon as possible to take advantage of these benefits.” MoSes provides unmatched flexibility to tailor sophisticated financial models to an insurer’s requirements. Moreover, knowing that MoSes is widely used gives companies confidence that the software platform and applications have the proven capabilities they need to measure value, manage risk and safeguard solvency. Many of the world’s leading insurers rely on MoSes financial models to help manage their business, while Towers Watson consultants use MoSes to provide answers to critical issues for clients. |
